thailand in preparation

the following is a short draft of things we might want to do / see together

- me arriving in bangkok on thursday 12th early morning
- early check in at the hotel to drop off luggage and catch up with some sleep
- getting a first impression of the city by driving the tuk tuk in the afternoon
- gaining some insights on the city's nightlife after refreshing at the hotel

- getting up late on friday 13th
- doing some more exploring through the city and getting maybe a fresh haircut
- gathering information on local tours and connections
- picking up a beatiful girl at the airport in the afternoon
- having dinner back to back some drinks with the lady

- saturday is resereved for basic sightseeing in bangkok

maybe we can even catch the
Chatuchak Weekend Market ...

the rest of the programm is still pretty unclear and the following collection should be seen as a working draft of my first brain storming / internet research

- it would be nice to get to the northern part of thailand with its rain forests and historic locations like
http://wikitravel.org/en/Chiang_Mai still not sure if its worth it ... especially considering its a days journey by train and that i had my share of temples already in india

a compromise in regards of that historic stuff would be going t
o Ayutthaya which is only two hours to go by train ... best thing about it YOU CAN ACTUALLY RIDE ELEPHANTS THERE !!!1!!
another must see location is probably Kanchanaburi with the River Kwai Bridge and the Tiger Temple
found also some packaged tours starting from bangkok, too bad there isn't one for both, elephants AND tigers though ... will look for more offers when in town ...

anyway, main reason for going to thailand are still the stunning beaches and water activities

reality check

for a long time i wasn't too sure if i'm only dreaming or if all this is really true. only thing i know by now is that the last month was definitely the best time i had for quite a while... and you're right if you're guessing this post is about a girl. my girl :)

... all thathappened just when i thought it couldn't possibly get any better. just finished my last two years project and all my overtime to spend ... and for the fun of it going to india with work ... flying over mid of next week ...

... and this is where it starts to get complicated ... i'm too eager to travel to some warm foreign country right now, but on the contrary wouldn't want to miss my lady for just a day ... we'll see how this works out i guess anyhow

meanwhile some pictures of our last four days trip to prague. which for that time with all its snow and winterly weather resembled a real modern life fairy tale city providing a background for our hot and freezing love drama with all it's ups and downs, chances and miracles ... and how else could it be ... finally a happy end :D

but lets see more pics ...

isn't she beautiful <3

just can't get enough of her ... arrrrrrrrrrrrr :D

... hopefully to be continued ...

ps:
if in town check the following places out

twenty something hours 27club left

typical case of self fulfilling prophecy imo.

twenty seven was really one of the best years in my life, if not even the most outstanding. doubtless there have been years with maybe more important events or more girls, better parties, ... what ever. but this year just tops it all just by the pure amount of different events passed and the general state of mind.

visiting and working in the us, with stations such as nyc brooklyn, philly, los angeles and las vegas which could fill a book by itself, besides to my daily life in munich with it's single moments and some once-in-a-lifetime line-ups out of town like the legendary sunandbass08 ... implied by the club charter it all had this "live fast, die young" touch, though it seems that i failed some how

on the other side what stays is the experience of "to overcome", deepening more into our selves with every day and night. but right now only twenty something hours before i finally leave the 27club behind me i realize that i still haven't picked a "prophecy" - say picture of myself or what to become next.

FACING west, from California’s shores

things are getting confusing when dreams and memories mix up;
pictures of people never seen before invading places deep inside our hearts

... or was it the other way around?

thinking about it more carefully often leads to wondrous findings;
touching abysses of our own personality, revealing basic mechanisms

FACING west, from California’s shores,
Inquiring, tireless, seeking what is yet unfound,
I, a child, very old, over waves, towards the house of maternity, the land of migrations, look afar,
Look off the shores of my Western Sea—the circle almost circled;
For, starting westward from Hindustan, from the vales of Kashmere,
From Asia—from the north—from the God, the sage, and the hero,
From the south—from the flowery peninsulas, and the spice islands;
Long having wander’d since—round the earth having wander’d,
Now I face home again—very pleas’d and joyous;
(But where is what I started for, so long ago?
And why is it yet unfound?)

beautiful colours to think of

echoes in my head ... hitting my skull from inside
perfectly distributed ... like sand corns
which the wind blows on the beach
while the moonsun shines from behind a cloud
reflected as a swimming blue surrounded eye

... some thoughts have a certain sound ...

and the sand runs though your fingers
again as ever and perfectly as before

holla back ... blogger in draft

about time for an update ... but where to begin?

The beginning. Right. Well, I suppose it all started in the Holodeck. Doesn't it always?

while i was shooting pics on the way to brooklyn, my driver ... hehe ... missed our exit, so first thing we saw was a pretty much crazy area - as rich in colors as in its spectrum of different cultures - which we later realized to be williamsburg. unfortunately i didnt manage to get there after that, but i tried a couple of times and maybe i will give it another go after i finally get into that brooklyn museum the following days. ... by the way i should have read those wiki-pages more carefully in order to avoid closed doors as happened with the later but lets start from the beginning or shortly after we managed to find my place in bedford which is another neightboorhood of brooklyn city known for its many different ethnic districts. jewsish, black, hispanic, polish and probably many more ...

basically i was there only for the weekend but ended up to really like this place, not especially because of the two danish girls, but also because of all the other guys who stayed there. some of them like me only on a short trip, others had already over a year ... some frome france, canada or from LA together with folks from just around the corner ... all combined it had an charm of its own; too bad i was too busy all the time chillin in central park and so spent only the second evening really there ... warming up with the others and later going to the bembe for some saturday night dancehall action ... nice

having the place of another colleague from monday on i still was thinking about staying at bedford for the rest of my vacation. still finally an own restroom plus much more room for myself seemed to outweigh all concerns (even the danish) ... even if i ended up on the wrong side of the george washington bridge, which is fort lee

now i've been driving back to brooklyn for two days, firstly to miss - as already mentioned - the brooklyn museum's opening hours (not starting before wednesdays) and going instead again to the prospect park. this time i also came around it's zoo, the picnic house and later on south side and the big lake. the last part happened when i was already on my way to the next point of interest which was the sea and coney island with its amusement park, alongside brighton beach and the mostly russian community

the second time was only today after i woke up as preferable as always on holidays when the golden ball hit again at its highest - or maybe shortly after that - just to drive to jamaica bay for breakfast. being a bit chilled my first physical encounter with the sea water took only a couple of minutes. also after reading my book for an hour and finishing chapter 4 of the stranger i realized that i've forgotten my lighter and so had to go back to my car and maybe move on to rockaway bay with its wildlife reservoir. after checking in via signing my visitors passport i took some photographs of local birds (the real bird birds ;) while not being allowed to have a cigarette again

anyhow currently im back "home" and calling it a day... chilling out on the couch and watching voyager. my plans for tomorrow are still pretty drafty, maybe i go back to central park and finish my book before going to philly on thursday, lets see ...

... the wormhole is collapsing ...
